Tools and Other Tricks of the Trade

May 24, 2016 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

May 24: Tools & Other Tricks of the Trade
Presenter – Mark Dwyer, RBG Director of Horticulture

Every year there are new recommendations for tools out in the garden as well as those “how to” gardening suggestions.  Over the years at Rotary Botanical Gardens, we’ve amassed a collection of “tried and true” tools that are the favorites of our volunteers.  We’ll discuss tools but also share our overall approach to composting, mulching, fertilizing and other gardening duties.

Each session will offer an in-depth look at a variety of horticulture and Rotary Botanical Gardens related subjects, including gardening and landscaping. This adult education series helps to further the Rotary Botanical Gardens’ mission of Enriching lives through natural beauty, education and the arts.
